The Bytox Company is the marketer and distributor of the successful hangover prevention patch product “Bytox” — essentially a transdermal patch that the user would apply prior to drinking alcohol. The transdermal delivery of vitamins and minerals, which is released in a sustained manner, helps prevent hangovers.

Bytox’s idea was to take the unique means of delivery (transdermal patch) and create a product that would provide alertness and energy similar to the fast growing energy drink market. The objective was to distribute the product internationally (outside the US market).

Needing extensive multidisciplinary branding and marketing resources, and having a challenged budget, Bytox selected spark361 as their partner.

Mission Statement

Defined a Mission Statement for the Bytox Company as it was now expanding beyond a single product. The Mission Statement defined what the company does, and importantly, why it does it.

Corporate Positioning & Corporate Naming

Defined a long term, unique and sustainable Brand Positioning for the company. Conducted a Corporate Name Exploratory that captured the essence of the company as agreed to in the Mission Statement and Brand Positioning.

Brand Architecture

  • Developed a Brand Architecture for the Corporate Brand and the various planned support products.
  • We recommended a ‘house of brands’ architecture that would eventually morph into a hybrid ‘house of brands’ and ‘branded house’ organization.
  • As part of the architecture we recommended which products should be introduced into market on a priority basis based on market opportunity and resources.
